About Us
Mariscos Mazatlan Seafood Restaurant is a
family operated restaurant founded 18 years ago and built
on a simple premise: great food. We use only the freshest
seafood, and all our meals are prepared fresh, on the spot.
We offer a wide array of traditional mexican seafood as
well as some alternatives for those who don't eat seafood
as well as kid's meals. We are a family oriented
establishment from the day we opened our doors, so we
sincerely hope to see you and your family come down for a
delicious meal.
We were founded in 1988 on Hollister St in Imperial Beach.
On March of 1990, we relocated to our present location. In
1992 we received accolades from Channel 8's Unknown Eater
for best Mexican Food Restaurant in San Diego. A while
later, we were featured in San Diego Magazine with glowing
reviews, and in some other regional publications.
Many important people have contributed to our history, such
as our great friend Antonio Kawachima, one of our original
cooks who prided himself on creating the freshest food with
the best ingredients for a delicious meal.
A completely family oriented establishment valuing good
food and good service, Mariscos Mazatlan hopes to keep
serving San Diegan's for years to come. This couldn't
happen without you, our clients, and we thank you for
choosing us for the past two decades.
